Grammar Point

A Keyphrase should be a short phrase that brings to mind and helps to remember the information on this frame.
限りかぎり

as long as ..., as far as ..., as much as ..., to the limits of ..., all of ...

after an adjective, verb, or noun

Verb / Adjective / Noun + 限り

When used with verbs, adjectives, or nouns, this grammar point expresses a condition where something remains true as long as a specific state or action continues. It can also mean 'to the extent of' or 'to the limit of' one's ability or knowledge.

Verb / な-Adjective

Verbs in the dictionary form or negative form, and な-Adjectives (using な or である), are used to set a continuous condition.

As long as I am healthy, I want to work.

As long as you don't apologize, I won't forgive you.

Extent or Limit

This usage indicates the limit of a range or the full extent of a capability.

As far as I know, he is a student.

I will run as fast as I can.

Noun + である

Nouns are typically followed by である to express 'as long as the state of being [Noun] continues'.

As long as you are a member, you can use this room.

Note

When used to mean 'as long as', the condition must be a continuing state. If the condition changes, the result also changes. When used as 'to the extent of', it often follows verbs related to knowing, seeing, or investigating. In the case of Nouns, である is often inserted to show a state of being.
